The purpose of our Questionnaire was to find out what does the audience like about horror/thriller  films and how much of them do like horrors at all. Also what type of sub - genres, villains and score music do they prefer .
Of course there was a diversity and at the same time similarity in the answers of some questions, some people think that the mise en scene matters the most in a horror / thriller film, some care more about the cinematography and others about the sound effects. A sort of survey like the one we've done is a good thing before preparing an actual opening sequence from the genre ourselves, because we got to understand what do people like and appreciate in these films and what do they think of our idea as a mix of sub - genres and conventions .
What we also found out from these answers are people's favorite themes in horror films, some like ''Insidious'' because of the ghost, some like Cannibal films and others prefer Vampires to be the villains. Why do people watch horrors is also a very important question that is answered, some said it's because of the thrill that gives them '' like a bungee jump. '' some do it for the emotions and the shock.
