Question 6 - What have you learned about technologies from the process of constructing this product ?
This was my first time being a camera woman, and I had a lot to learn, our teacher Matt showed us how to use the camera in class, but it was much harder doing everything on your own.
I learned how to adjust the tripod, so that the level of my camera is steady and the shooting looks smooth. I also learned that for some shots the tripod was in the way and I had to just hold the camera really steady and film, which was a real challenge. Using an external microphone was tricky as I had to always make sure that the sound levels are good, or else my footage was useless. I also learned that checking the level of brightness on the camera makes a great difference.
In other words I got better and better with each filming and the shots looked better and better.
I also watched how Elina used Final Cut Pro to edit the film and gained knowledge on how to use it myself if I need to help her with anything.
For our voice overs we needed to use a voice recorder, which seemed very complicated to use at first, but once we got the hang of it everything went smoothly .
